This Privacy Policy explains how TAPI collects and uses information when operated within Discord.

1. Information Collected

TAPI may collect the following information:

• Discord user ID (to recognize who issued commands)
• Server (Guild) ID and channel IDs (to know where commands were sent)
• Music playback requests (song name, source link, etc.)
• User language preferences

TAPI does not collect any personally identifiable information such as real names or email addresses.

2. Purpose of Collection

We use collected data to:

• Enable core bot functionality (e.g., queueing music, playback history)
• Save user preferences (language settings, server configurations)
• Diagnose issues and improve service stability
• Prevent command abuse or misuse

3. Data Storage and Retention

Data is stored securely on private servers (Supabase) and Redis cache, and is retained only for as long as needed to operate the Service.

What We Store:

• Guild IDs and bot settings
• User language preferences
• Anonymous usage statistics

What We DON'T Store:

• Message content
• User personal information
• Message history
• Voice chat audio

Data Deletion: All guild settings and data are automatically deleted when the bot is removed from a server.

4. Third-Party Services

We do not sell or share your data with third parties. However, TAPI uses the following services:

Music Sources:

• YouTube - Music streaming via Lavalink
• SoundCloud - Music streaming via Lavalink

We do not store music files, only stream them in real-time.

Infrastructure:

• Supabase - Database for bot settings (guild IDs, preferences)
• Redis - Temporary caching (cleared regularly)
• Lavalink - Audio streaming (no data storage)

5. Machine Learning and AI

We do NOT use any collected data for:

• Machine learning
• AI training
• Data analytics beyond basic usage statistics

6. User Rights and Opt-Out

You Can:

• Change Language: Use /language command to update preferences
• Delete Data: Kicking the bot automatically deletes all server data
• Request Information: Contact us to see what data we have stored

7. Children's Privacy

TAPI does not knowingly collect data from users under 13 years old, in compliance with Discord's Terms of Service and COPPA regulations.

8. Changes to Policy

This policy may be updated. We will notify users of material changes through bot announcements or GitHub updates. Continued use of TAPI after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
